Feature Friday: Barky

This is Barky. He is a Husky dog. He is named after a ghost my grandpa believed in when he was little, called "Barky kachamupapa." He is the grownup of our doggies and takes care of the puppies: Harold and Cookie.

He hangs out with Pig a lot because they are both mature.

This bear's name is Bear. Dave gave him to Maxine in college.

Bear is still a little bit wild after all this time. Sometimes as I'm headed out the door, I hear him saying, "They're finally gone! Now the party can begin."

Actually, I just hear "Rarr, Rarr", since he's a bear.

Bear is wearing a Chuy's button. Maxine likes Chuy's too.

Look what I found when I arrived in the morning! A wonderful sight after a red-eye flight. Cookie even got me some chocolates with sprinkles on them, my favorite!

This pig's name is Pig. Pig has been with Maxine for several years, including College. Pig likes to hang out and just chill. Sometimes Pig has to be the grown-up and take care of the younger animals.

So when we make the bed in the morning, Maxine and I have to do something with all the stuffed animals who live there. We've started making little scenes with them, and it recently occurred to me that they were worth preserving. We'll also re-enact some of our favorites that we didn't get around to photographing before.
